UpStreet Backdrop
Christ Fellowship Church meets in an industrial park building, and while it has plenty of space for the congregation, the children’s ministries area feels a bit brutalistic. As a way to remedy the unwanted vibe, a whimsical backdrop was designed.
The Challenge
Creating a kid-friendly backdrop to brighten the children’s ministries space while leaving room for the UpStreet logo.
About the Backdrop
The backdrop uses cooler tones as a method for making the warm UpStreet logo stand out in the otherwise frenetic design.
Several nods to the name can be spotted throughout including street signs, a traffic light, and car.
The backdrop was an immediate crowd pleaser. Students stood and searched through the images for several minutes after the initial display, content to lose themselves in the chaos.
