National Cryptologic Museum (NCM Stationery Suite)

The National Cryptologic Museum is an incredible place home to America’s code making and code breaking history. As cool as it is, it is in great need of a brand update and stationery suite.

The Challenge

Creating a bold brand and stationery suite that is interesting but also professional as this is a government facility.

About the Brand

For this logo, navy is used to convey a sense of professionalism and sophistication. Navy is also a common government uniform color.

The design in the navy square is far from random. Those who know their Morse Code, a featured exhibit at NCM, will know that the dits and dashes read “NCM”.

To tie everything together, Poppins was used for the logo font. Poppins echos the geometry used throughout while being bold and concise.
